Donbas under heavy fire: Thousands of residents without electricity, water and gas

Russian troops continue intensive shelling in the Donbass. Last night, rockets hit civilian infrastructure and a chemical plant in the Donetsk region. Local authorities are reporting casualties.

Under heavy fire were the cities of Novosilka, Georgievka and Toretsk. At least 4 people were injured. Six apartment buildings were damaged.

Seven rockets landed on a phenol and lubricants factory. As a result of the attack, some equipment was damaged, including distillation columns, pipelines and a finished product tank. The authorities assure that there is no pollution of the environment.

Residents without gas, electricity and water

In addition, as a result of heavy shelling from Severodonetskaya, residential buildings and urban infrastructure were damaged. The explosions tore apart the local gas pipeline. Residents of 36 cities were left without gas. As a result of shelling by the Russian occupying forces, 95,938 people were left without electricity. There is no water in Rubizhnia, Popasnaya, Svenedonetsko and Lisichansk.
