We expect that the main blow will be inflicted in the central part of Donbass. We expect that it will be very big. “Russia’s plan is to come from Kharkiv to the south and from the south of Ukraine to Kharkiv,” he said.
Fedik said that everyone in Ukraine would like the war to end very quickly, but explained that this would mean that one of the two sides in the conflict would declare itself a defeated party, which does not look like it will happen at the moment.
He said the fighting could take place both outside the cities and inside them. He explained that Mariupol is an important city for both Ukraine and Russia.
“Mariupol now looks like hell on earth. The situation is very serious,” the Ukrainian journalist added, adding that Putin’s goal was to destroy Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
