Indonesia has changed the rules for the stay of tourists in the country

The Indonesian authorities have tightened restrictions due to COVID-19 for foreigners, including Ukrainians.

According to the innovations, from July 22, for domestic travel around the country, vacationers, regardless of vaccination status, must take a PCR test. It is noted that the rules for the stay of tourists have been changed due to the worsening epidemiological situation in the republic.

“If a tourist flew to Bali, and then decided to go to the island of Java, Lombok, or wants to get to Komodo island, then before leaving, you will need to do a PCR test. At the same time, a PCR test is not required to visit the neighboring islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida – these islands are considered part of Bali.

It is noted that to enter the country of Ukrainians, a vaccination certificate or a document on a medical withdrawal is required. In this case, the certificate must be issued only by a state medical institution, translated into English, and certified by a notary.
