“People with golden heads” (a slang name for foreigners in Thailand) could lead to another lockdown and economic problems. Such an alarming forecast was presented by the Thai publication Thaiger. However, it is worth adding a specific local flavor — the alarm comes from a famous Thai psychic, Dr. Plai, who appears on the popular talk show Khui Laek Daed Deuk.
For August, the Thai psychic promised, first, serious unrest among the population, and he gave the main role to local teenagers, as well as “the attention of international organizations.” The second source of trouble is precisely “people with golden heads” – that is, foreigners and tourists.
“They will bring with them economic disruptions that could potentially lead to economic instability. It may be similar to the closure of the country, although not quite a closure,” the psychic was afraid.
