Paramount announced the suspension of activities in Russia in mid-March, and now the company has announced the date of shutting down the broadcast of its channels in the country.
Paramount’s channel package includes entertainment and family channels like Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., NickToons, Paramount Comedy, as well as music channels like MTV Russia and MTV Live HD. All of them will no longer be available in Russia from April 20.
Recall that earlier a similar decision was made by Discovery. The company stopped broadcasting 15 cable channels, including Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.
