Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba revealed via social media that Russia is preparing a disinformation campaign about Ukraine that will target foreign media and politicians because, he pointed out, the aggressor knows that arms supplies are critical to repel the enemy.
“Russia knows that arms deliveries are critical to Ukraine and is mobilizing every effort to harm them,” Dmitry Kuleba wrote.
The Foreign Minister added that Moscow had prepared “a massive information campaign aimed at foreign media and politicians. Their troll factory can spam emails and flood (Internet) with comments containing misinformation about Ukraine.” Kuleba urged not to succumb to manipulation.
propaganda campaign
Spokesman for the Coordinating Minister of the Special Services, Stanislav Zharin, recently spoke about the intensification of the Russian propaganda campaign, which is also aimed at Russian society. “Recently, Russia has intensified its propaganda campaign aimed at Russian society. Its goal is to convince the Russians that the “special operation” (as the Kremlin presents the war against the AU) is going according to plan,” Zharin wrote on Twitter.
In subsequent entries, he added that “as part of falsifying the truth about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kremlin propaganda exposes the “humanitarian aid” that Russian soldiers provide to “liberated residents” as well as “successes in actions against the Nazis.”
He recalled that this is how Russia talks about the government in Kyiv. The press secretary of the minister-coordinator of the special services noted that there were also attempts in the Russian media to convince that the economic situation in Russia is stable and that the country is ready for the economic consequences of the ongoing “special operation”.
