Belarus is threatened by World War III, due to Poland’s offer of peacekeepers

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned that Poland’s proposal to send Western peacekeepers to Ukraine could lead to a third world war, according to the Associated Press.

“It would mean a third world war,” Lukashenko said of a proposal made by Poland last week. “The situation is very serious and tense,” he said.

At the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that any foreign intervention in Russia’s military action would provoke an immediate response from Moscow, which he said would have “unprecedented consequences.”

A few days after the invasion, Putin ordered the transfer of Russia’s nuclear forces to a special combat duty, recalls the AP.
