A “tired” hotel that has not seen renovation for a long time, strict rules, and most importantly – complete savings on cleaning and everywhere dirt – this is how another hotel in Egypt, where tourists should not go, was described by a travel agent in his blog. It is about the popular hotel in Hurghada Zya Regina Resort & Aqua Park 4*. According to the travel agent, the hotel is “not at all ready for the season” and for meeting tourists.
Just in case, the travel agent first noted the advantages of the hotel. The first of them is a large green area. The second is that the hotel is located in the center of Hurghada, near Sheraton Road. “Tourists always ask for civilization nearby, shops/benches/pharmacies,” adds the travel agent.
But this is “everything with pluses”, she also notes. And the minuses are:
- “Very old hotel, 1996, the renovation was not carried out for almost five years.”
- The hotel is often chosen by local tourists, “Arabs love this hotel and feel like hosts here.”
- Strict rules: rooms are given strictly at 2:00 p.m., and all-inclusive wristbands are issued together with the room key and cut off precisely at noon when the number is given. A “stuck” tourist eats at his own expense.
- 3 pools, none heated.
- In old rooms, everything is falling apart, rusty sanitary ware, broken tiles, and peeling paint on the walls.
- “And the most important thing: everywhere is DIRTY! The restaurant has a dirty floor and dirty dishes, the newly received room may have black hair and sand, and the bars have some stains on the chairs and armchairs…”
“Once it was a pleasant and flourishing hotel. In December 2022, the hotel is not ready to meet the Russians,” the travel agent sums up.
