A wealthy tourist from Malaysia, having arrived in Paris for the weekend, experienced extremely unpleasant emotions on the very first day of her vacation – her ring worth 750 thousand euros disappeared, which she left on the nightstand in her room at the luxurious Ritz hotel, reports leParisien.
At first, the concerned tourist contacted the hotel management, but after the search was unsuccessful, she wrote a statement to the police.
For two days, hotel security and law enforcement scrupulously searched for the missing jewel. The ring was eventually found in the dust bag of a vacuum cleaner.
The administration denies in every possible way that the loss of the ring can be linked to the theft. However, the owner of the jewelry does not believe that it accidentally ended up in the dust collector.
