Poland is one of the cheapest countries in Europe

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released a fresh report that compares the cost of living in different countries. Based on the cost of living in the United States.

The most expensive country in the world is Norway, where prices are 36% higher than in the US and 222.5% higher than in Poland. Next on the list are: Barbados, Marshall Islands, South Sudan, Iceland, and Micronesia – prices in these countries are more than 160% higher than in Poland.

The cheapest country in the world is Tajikistan, prices here are 48.8% lower than in Poland. Among the cheapest countries are also Myanmar, Iran, Laos, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Pakistan.

Among the cheapest countries in the world, the majority are representatives of Africa and Asia. Of the European countries, Turkey is the cheapest, where prices are 35.7% lower than in Poland.

Among the Baltic countries, Estonia is the most expensive – prices in this country are 151% higher than in Poland.

In the European Union, among the top-budget ones are Hungary, Romania, and Poland. In Europe – also Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, and the Balkan countries.
