Vietnam to completely lift restrictions on international flights

Vietnam will lift restrictions on international flights from February 15. Flight frequency will be restored to pre-pandemic levels. This was reported on Sunday, February 13, by the state newspaper Tuoi Tre, citing the deputy director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, Dinh Viet Son.

It is noted that the country’s authorities have already informed their partners about this, and only China has not yet agreed to resume commercial flights with Vietnam. The state in Southeast Asia proceeded gradually towards the opening of its borders. Since the beginning of the year, flights have been resumed on an experimental basis with 15 markets. At the same time, Vietnam eased covid restrictions for travelers.

Today, passengers on international flights do not need to take additional rapid tests for coronavirus upon arrival, quarantine has been reduced from 7 days to 3. On vacation, you will need to take free PCR tests on the first and third days. The republic began to let in not only vaccinated, but also recovered COVID-19 tourists with a certificate that is valid for no more than 6 months.

Tourists are allowed to enter only on a tourist voucher from a tour operator.

Recall that the Vietnamese authorities expect to fully open the borders for foreign citizens no later than April. Now travelers are accepted by several provinces. However, in order to restore tourism in the country, further indulgences are needed for the reception of foreign guests.
