Turkish Airlines cancels 100 flights due to bad weather

Turkish Airlines, the main carrier, has canceled 100 flights scheduled for tomorrow, March 19, due to expected bad weather in the Istanbul area.

“Due to bad weather, 100 flights scheduled for March 19 to and from Istanbul have been canceled, including 80 flights to Istanbul airport and 20 flights to Sabiha Gokcen airport,” the airline was quoted as saying by the Anatolian News Agency.

Sabiha Gokcen Airport is the main air hub of Istanbul, located in the Asian part of the city.
