Turkey announced a new date for closing the holiday season

The resort town of Bodrum (Mugla Province) in Turkey intends to extend the tourist season. The Bodrum Hoteliers Association announced the date of its end, the Türkiye Telegram channel reported.

The season was scheduled to end on October 28. At this time, most of the hotels were closing, and the number of flights was also decreasing. But due to high demand, it was decided to extend the tourist season until November 15,” the Association said, adding that negotiations are currently underway to extend most of the charter programs until mid-November.

“We have stopped at November 15 so far. But you can extend this period until the end of November. The weather is quite comfortable in Bodrum at this time,” the agency said.

Background: Bodrum is located on a rocky peninsula in southwestern Turkey, dotted with picturesque coves and beautiful beaches. The opposite is the Greek island of Kos. Bodrum is loved by European tourists and wealthy locals. The tourist city is firmly in the top five resorts of Turkey. Some call it the most stylish and craziest place in the Aegean.

We would like to add that other resorts in Turkey will follow the same path: due to high demand at the end of the summer tourist season, they will try to move as far as possible – to the end of November. Well, large five-star hotels will not close for the winter at all, preferring to work all year round – they have all the necessary infrastructure for a good rest even in winter.

Earlier, the DIP reported that “Turkey has announced the date by which all good hotels are completely sold out – there are no seats in them.”
