Russian 35-year-old climbed onto the roof of the Wat Chalong temple in Phuket. The police and rescuers negotiated with him for about four hours, but they failed to convince him to go down – the man jumped down.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries without regaining consciousness. The reasons why the tourist decided to commit suicide are being investigated.
