The scandal on the popular Taksim Square in Istanbul is being investigated by the police. Counterfeit perfume dealers tried to beat tourists who decided to refuse to buy counterfeit, smashing a bottle of these pseudo-spirits on the head of a friend and tourists who refused the offer to sell. According to Turkish media, two people selling counterfeit perfumes on Beyoglu Istiklal Street wanted to sell them to two Palestinian tourists. The dispute between tourists and sellers who refused the offer escalated into a fight, one of the perfume sellers smashed a bottle of perfume on the head of a tourist.
The incident, which took place on “Turkey’s safest streets”, became a scandal. Aggressive sellers were sought with the police. At the same time, according to the media, “aggressive sellers of counterfeit spirits inhabiting Taksim Square” are inexorably growing.
