The usually non-aggressive animal attacked a 10-year-old boy at the Denizli Zoo, according to Expat Guide Turkey.
“After visiting the cages with different animals, the child went to see the camel and experienced one of the most unforgettable moments in his life. The boy ignored the warnings of adults about the ban on approaching the zoo inhabitant. The animal grabbed the child by the head and neck, and then lifted him into the air”, – describes the video source.
The boy’s family was able to free him from the animal’s mouth. Eyewitnesses report that the child was “crying and screaming in fear.” An ambulance arrived at the scene and took the child to the hospital. The boy’s condition is assessed as “good”, and according to Turkish doctors, “nothing threatens his life.”
