An IndiGo airline pilot paid the price for rashly entering the cabin to meet passengers. Tourists faced long delays in their Delhi-Goa flight. The weather was to blame. In total, we had to wait 13 hours for departure.
The injured airline employee arrived on board to replace his colleague, whose working hours had ended. He announced the next flight delay not from the cockpit, but right in the cabin, using the flight attendants’ microphone.
Upon hearing the bad news, an aggressive passenger rushed towards the pilot. As he walked, he shouted: “If you don’t want to fly the plane, don’t fly it!” — and managed to hit the man in the face before he disappeared into the cabin, and the flight attendants blocked the passage.
After the incident, the airline called the police. According to eyewitnesses, the passenger apologized for his behavior when he was taken into custody. The airline intends to include the passenger in the blacklist of persons prohibited from flying.
