A 72-year-old plane pilot nearly crashed in England after mistaking a dual carriageway for a runway.
According to media reports, a light aircraft almost landed on a highway near Newcastle Airport. During the investigation, it turned out that a 72-year-old man was at the helm, who confused the highway with the strip from the height of the flight.
