Bookings in Turkey this winter season are significantly higher than in previous years, and demand for New Year’s programs is particularly high, so most hotels, at least in the Alanya resort, are already 80-90% full. This statement was made by the president of the Association of Tourist Hotel Operators of Alanya (ALTID), Burhan Sili.
He noted that the number of hotels opened in the winter season in the Alanya district of Antalya increased by 5%. If last year this number was 10% of the summer season, now it reaches 15%. Moreover, most likely, they will be filled “to capacity” – already at the beginning of the year, hotels are occupied by 80-90%.
“Our guests from Europe continue to come. We also see a certain demand from nearby destinations. There are requests for the new year, for 1-3 nights,” the expert said. At the same time, demand from the domestic market did not increase.
