Norwegian Airlines suspends flights over Ukraine

According to the Norwegian TV channel TV2, the Norwegian airline announced that it was suspending flights of its liners over the territory of Ukraine.

According to the airline’s communications director Esben Tuman, this decision was made on the basis of a comprehensive safety assessment and will remain in effect until further notice.

The SAS airline, which operates regular weekly flights from Oslo to Kiev, assured that flights to Ukraine are operated as usual.

Earlier, KML announced that it would stop flying to Ukraine. The Ukrainian airline SkyUp announced the suspension of ticket sales for the period February 14-16. And international insurers have notified air carriers that they will stop insuring aircraft for flights in the airspace of Ukraine for two days.
