Moscow has criticized the US decision to impose a total ban on Russian oil imports and warned that it could have global negative consequences, according to DPA.
“US sanctions on Russia have long gone beyond political and economic logic,” the Russian embassy in Washington wrote on its Facebook page, adding:
“As usual, the United States doesn’t think that a constraint is always a double-edged sword.”
The statement goes on to say that it is clear that the abandonment of Russian resources “will lead to significant fluctuations in world energy markets.” This will negatively affect the interests of companies and consumers, especially in the United States. ”
The embassy said that “Russia has options to redirect its high-quality and competitive products.”
