Today, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba accused his Russian counterpart Serhiy Lavrov of “complicity in crimes committed by the Russian army since the beginning of the war in Ukraine,” AFP reports.
“The fact that (Lavrov) justifies the bombing of a hospital in Mariupol and war crimes committed in Bucha and other towns and villages of Ukraine … .. makes him an accomplice to these crimes,” Kuleba told a news conference after meeting with foreign ministers. NATO Affairs in Brussels.
“Every comment he makes (Lavrov) is aimed at disrupting the talks, blocking them and preventing them from moving forward,” Kuleba added, “referring to Russian-Ukrainian talks under Turkish auspices, while guaranteeing that he ready to meet him again.”
“When it comes to peace in Ukraine and an end to the killings, I am ready to meet with anyone,” he said, adding: “To avoid a new Bucha, we need to talk and see how we can end this war.”
Ukraine must get its weapons “now”, otherwise “it will be too late”, Kuleba told NATO foreign ministers, BTA adds.
