Britain believes that Russian troops have not captured the Ukrainian city of Melitopol, British Undersecretary of the Armed Forces James Hippie said, Reuters reports.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Melitopol was captured by Russian troops, BTA clarifies.
Regarding “all Russia’s targets from day one… even Melitopol, which Russia claims was captured by its troops – we have no information to confirm this. We believe that they are still in the hands of Ukraine,” the Minister said.
