Tourists evacuated at Turkish hotel due to massive fire

On September 2, at about 11 pm, a strong fire broke out on the roof of the Larina Family Resort Alanya 4 * hotel in the Kestel area in Alanya. The Turkish publication antalyahakkinda.com reports that the guests were quickly evacuated, as the flames very quickly engulfed the entire roof of the 5-story building.

Several fire brigades, as well as helicopters, participated in the extinguishing work. The fire was quickly brought under control and in a short time, literally within an hour, eliminated. It is known that there were no dead or injured among the tourists. Two firefighters involved in extinguishing the fire turned to the doctors.

Turkish media write that cooling work is underway on the roof of the hotel building. How long it will take to recover is unknown. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Larina Family is positioned as a family-friendly hotel. A transfer takes tourists to the beach, which is located 800 m from the hotel.
