Greece introduces new restrictions on foreign tourists

The Greek authorities are tightening the rules for entering the country from December 24. This was stated by the head of the Greek Ministry of Health Thanos Pleuris.

So, when entering Greece, in addition to the test at the airport, you will have to be tested two more times – on the second and fourth days after arrival.

In addition, from 06:00 on December 24, a universal mask regime is introduced – both indoors and outdoors. In supermarkets and public transport, it becomes mandatory to use two masks at the same time or a KN95 high protection mask.

Also, all mass celebrations will be canceled. It is recommended to do tests before any social gatherings.

According to Pleuris, on December 27, the authorities will announce restrictive measures for the period after January 3, 2022.
