Kazakhstan and the Maldives signed an agreement on a visa-free regime

The authorities of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Maldives signed an agreement on a mutual visa-free regime for citizens traveling for up to 30 days. This was stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

However, those who plan to enter for work, study or business purposes still require an appropriate visa.

Recall that in October 2021, Kazakhstan and the Maldives mutually recognized vaccination passports, exempting their citizens from the requirements of PCR testing when crossing the borders of the two countries.
