A late spring blizzard in Colorado in the Midwestern United States led to the formation of several inches of snow in the Denver area and left without light about 210 thousand subscribers, according to the DIP, citing local authorities.
By last night, the power supply to 160,000 consumers had been restored. However, about 50,000 remain without electricity.
Snow cover in the small municipality of Cripple Creek, at the foot of Pike Peak, reached 51 centimeters, according to USA TV.
