Cyclone “Yakekan” with a storm, strong winds, and seafoam hit Uruguay.
In particular, on the coast of Punta del Este, huge white flakes of foam covered everything around – beaches, streets, roads. The foam flies in the air and hits the houses. Doctors advise being careful not to plunge into it because it contains a lot of silt and algae raised from the bottom of the ocean.
Subtropical cyclone Yaquecan hit the coast of Uraguay and Brazil on May 17. The wind speed in it was 100 km / h. Authorities warned residents of the risk of power outages and building damage from the storm.
