The set includes stamps with photographs illustrating the Queen’s various social obligations from travel to visits to other countries. The photos cover the period from 1957 to 2020, the earliest of which are in black and white. In a photograph taken in 1957, Elizabeth II was with her late husband Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

All British stamps must depict the silhouette of the Queen, but stamps from the new set are an exception because they depict Elizabeth II.
February 6 will mark the 70th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. She has been on the throne longer than all the heads of state and among all the women who have ever ruled. So far no one has surpassed the achievements of King Louis XIV of France (1638-1715), who ruled for 72 years and 110 days.
