At least three people were killed and four others were injured in a shooting near a courthouse in Istanbul, Turkish state television TRT reported.
One in four was seriously injured, TRT reports, showing footage of the wounded being loaded into ambulances.
Police detained 17 suspects in connection with the incident, the exact cause of which is unclear.
According to Turkish television, the shooting in the courtroom in Küçükçekmece was the result of a quarrel between the two sides at a court hearing.
Police seized two pistols and a rifle at the scene.
