According to the Turkish TV channel CNN-Turk, clashes of deputies took place in the Turkish parliament during budget hearings.
MPs from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the main opposition Republican People’s Party (NRP) got into heated debate at a meeting of the Budget Planning Committee next year. A little later, the argument turned into a fight.
Deputy Speaker of the Mejlis Sadi Sureja Bilgich announced a break.
No injuries were reported.
