Again in Turkey, a strong heat wave is expected. In some parts of the country, the air temperature can rise by 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.
According to specialists from the Main Meteorological Directorate, the high-temperature waves that have already affected the east and southeast of Turkey will spread to other regions.
The highest temperature is expected in the provinces of Diyarbakır, where temperatures can reach +41 °C, Gaziantep (+40 °C) and Edirne (+38 °C).
In the more northeastern regions of Turkey, as well as in the coastal zones of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, a little cooler is expected. And on the Black Sea coast, there will be heavy rains with thunderstorms.
