TripAdvisor has compiled its ranking of the best beaches of 2024, DailyMail reports.
Topping the list of beaches to visit this year is Praia da Falesia in the Portuguese Algarve. It knocked off champion Baia do Sancho in Brazil, which had led the ranking for six years based on the quality and quantity of Tripadvisor traveler reviews and ratings for beaches around the world, collected from October 2022 to September 2023.
The silver medal was awarded to the Spiaggia dei Conigli on the island of Lampedusa in Sicily, Italy.
The bronze medal was awarded to La Concha Beach in San Sebastian, Spain.
Kaanapali Beach in Hawaii was the best beach in the United States, ranking fourth out of 25 beaches worldwide.
