Tourist police in the Thai city of Pattaya are sounding the alarm over the increasing number of crimes committed by transgender women against tourists.
According to The Thaiger, police have detained about 20 ladyboys in Pattaya alone over the past few days.
To control the situation, law enforcement officers created a special database, which included more than 50 individuals who potentially pose a danger to foreigners.
Transgender people sometimes behave very aggressively. For example, in August of this year, 20 ladyboys attacked three tourists from Saudi Arabia and Palestine after a verbal altercation.
In addition, a guest from Bahrain was robbed: on the bus, everything that was in his pockets was taken from him, including documents.
