Pilots turn planes around Iceland so passengers can see the northern lights

The pilots of the plane flying from Reykjavik to Manchester turned the board so that passengers could see one of the most beautiful natural phenomena – the northern lights report the Mirror.

According to the portal, passengers did not even dare to dream that the pilots would take such a step.

“We took off, and halfway through the pilot turned off all the lights. The northern lights were visible to people sitting on the left side. The pilots made a 360-degree circle so that those sitting on the right could enjoy the spectacle,” the passenger said.

It is noted that the northern lights were visible on Monday, February 27, and residents of almost the entire UK, including London and Bristol.

To see the miracle of nature, so many people gathered on the observation decks that traffic jams formed on the roads.
