Georgia is open to tourists, the date is named

It became known that from March 1, foreign tourists and residents of all countries will be allowed to enter Georgia if they have a negative PCR test for COVID-19.

According to Georgy Gibradze, head of the operational headquarters of the interdepartmental coordination council for the fight against coronavirus under the Prime Minister of Georgia, the PCR test should be done no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in the country. Entry rules apply when crossing air, land and sea borders.

In addition, the requirement to take a PCR test on the third day after arrival in Georgia has been abolished.

The country also recognizes vaccination certificates with any currently known drug.

Earlier, the DIP reported that the Israeli government would allow all tourists to enter, regardless of whether they had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
