A foreign tourist threatened other holidaymakers with a knife after a political scandal on the tourist island of Mallorca in Spain. No one was injured, as he was “twisted” by the police in time.
The incident took place last week, on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, in a hotel room in the municipality of Andrach in the western part of Mallorca. It was not the portal of The Sun that drew attention to it, but it became known about it recently. According to preliminary data, the cause of the armed conflict was political differences, other details were not reported.
It was clarified that the local police quickly responded to the call and arrived at the scene. Despite the resistance of the Irish tourist, who for some time kept other guests of the hotel in fear, they managed to calm down the aggressive traveler with pepper spray and remove the knife.
It was reported that the vacationer had a “large build, his height was 196 cm.” And while the man was led in handcuffs to the patrol car, several people threw various objects at the policemen as a sign of protest.
