Antalya breaks temperature record for 82 years

According to Turkish media, a new temperature record has been set in the south of Turkey in the province of Antalya: yesterday, October 3, the highest temperature in the last 82 years was recorded here.

The air temperature was +40.4°C, and at Antalya Airport – +41.2°C, which is three degrees more than on the same day in 1940.

Forecasters note that such high temperatures are not uncommon in Antalya, but they are not typical for October – during this period, as a rule, the temperature is already lower.
