Amsterdam to ban tourist buses in the city center

A year later, in January 2024, Amsterdam (Netherlands) will introduce a ban on the entry of tourist buses into the city center.

This decision of the authorities of Amsterdam is explained by the desire to reduce the amount of garbage on the streets and reduce the level of exhaust gases from vehicles. The streets of the Dutch capital will become less crowded.

Tourists who previously arrived directly in the old city center will be offered to use taxis, public transport, canal boats, bike rides, or walk as an alternative.
