Medvedev: I did not order the destruction of Mask’s satellites, but the idea is worth discussing

Dmitry Medvedev, chairman of the United Russia party, said the publication of his decision to destroy Starlink satellites Elon Mask was fake news. However, he believes that the idea is original and deserves discussion, BNR reports.

We will remind, earlier mass media spread information that the General Staff of the Russian Federation accused the SpaceX satellite of flooding of the cruiser “Moscow”, read in more detail on the link.

Medvedev, who is also Russia’s deputy chairman of the Security Council, said the news appeared on a fake website similar to the United Russia website.

It claimed that Medvedev had personally ordered the downing of American communications satellites as they were used to guide Ukrainian Neptune missiles that sank the Russian cruiser Moscow. Russia’s communications regulator has already blocked the site.

Russia, meanwhile, says its Black Sea Fleet’s flagship sank after a fire and an explosion of ammunition on board.

Meanwhile, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing today that Russian air defenses shot down a Ukrainian SU-25 plane 15 kilometers south of the city of Izyum. He said that in the last twenty-four hours, missile forces and artillery have struck a total of 811 strikes on military facilities on Ukrainian territory. The Ukrainian authorities did not confirm this information.
