Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the Ukrainian authorities of being involved in “gross and cynical provocations” in the city of Bucha during a conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the Kremlin said.
“Vladimir Putin briefed Orban on the situation that has developed in connection with the negotiations between the representatives of Russia and Ukraine, and also gave a fundamental assessment of the rude and cynical provocation of the Kiev regime in the city of Bucha,” the Kremlin said.
A few days ago, Ukrainian officials said the bodies of hundreds of civilians were found as Russian troops were withdrawing from the city.
