The first elements of the latest package of American weapons and ammunition have arrived in Ukraine. This was reported by CNN with reference to a White House official, BNR reports.
During the week, Washington promised Kyiv additional military aid of up to $ 800 million, including artillery, armored vehicles and helicopters. New deliveries are being made in connection with Russia’s expected large-scale offensive in the Donbas.
Commenting to Ukrinform, Ukraine’s ambassador to Washington, Oksana Markarova, said that despite all the threats from Russia with “unpredictable consequences”, the United States will not change its position and remain steadfast in its support for Ukraine.
