Two typhoons are approaching Japan

Two typhoons – “Mirine” (from the Korean – “Milky Way”) and “Lupit” (from the Philippine – “ruthless”) will approach Japan on Sunday, according to the Main Meteorological Administration.

Typhoon Mirinae, which is assigned serial number 10 in Japan, will approach the east coast of Japan on Sunday morning. In the afternoon, it will pass near Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture, and then head further northeast. By Sunday morning, the pressure in the center of the typhoon will be 985 hectopascals, the wind speed in the center will reach 23 meters per second, with gusts – up to 35.

Typhoon “Lupit”, which is assigned number 9 in Japan, is approaching from the south and by Sunday evening will be near the island of Kyushu. Currently, the pressure in the center of the typhoon is 994 hectopascals, wind speed in the center – 20 meters per second, with gusts – 30 meters per second. The typhoon could hit the entire southwestern part of Japan, from the Pacific coast in the southeast to the coast of the Sea of ​​Japan in the southwest and west of the country.
