Alexander Lukashenko: We tell the West “bye-bye”

“We are talking about the bye-bye the West”, – said Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, RIA Novosti reported.

In Minsk, the head of state commented on the sanctions imposed on his country and Russia by the European Union, Britain, the United States and other countries in connection with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Belarus’ complicity in the attack.

“Due to the restrictions in question, we call the West ‘dosvidos’ (a combination of Russian and Spanish words ‘goodbye’ – ‘goodbye’ and ‘goodbye’),” Lukashenko said.

We will continue to deepen cooperation between our countries and build our future on our own, “the Belarusian president added after three hours of talks with Vladimir Putin at the Vostok cosmodrome in Russia’s Far East.

Belarus gave part of its territory to the Russian military to attack Ukraine. “The task of our army in the Russian operation is to prevent the Russians from being attacked in the rear,” Lukashenko said.
