The new e-Visas for visiting Indonesia is not for tourism purposes. This was stated by the Indonesian embassy.
According to representatives of the diplomatic mission, the new electronic visas on arrival (e-VOA), which were previously announced, can only be obtained by invitation – from an Indonesian citizen, an Indonesian organization/company, or a foreign organization/company registered in Indonesia.
To obtain such a visa valid for 90 days, you will need to present a round-trip ticket and an insurance policy with coverage of at least $25,000.
