The chicken was caught during a “search of the Pentagon’s security zone” – one of the most protected buildings in the world, the animal protection organization said, according to AFP.
Employees of the Animal Welfare Union in Arlington were called to pick up the chicken and put it in the poultry house, the organization said on Facebook.
