The US does not have a regime change strategy in Russia, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told reporters today. Blinken referred to yesterday’s speech by US President Joe Biden, who said that Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power,” BTA reports.
“I think Biden said last night that Putin should not be allowed to wage war or be aggressive against Ukraine or anyone else,” Blinken, who is visiting Jerusalem, said. “As you know and as we have repeatedly said, we don’t have a regime change strategy either in Russia or anywhere else,” he added.
