Countries popular with tourists where vaping is prohibited are named

Turkey, India, and other popular tourist destinations have imposed strict restrictions on e-cigarettes. Tourists who violate the rules face a fine and even imprisonment for up to 10 years. It is important to know the laws before going on vacation. The countries where vaping is prohibited were published by the Daily Star.

Punishment measures can apply to both smoking and transportation of vapes and liquid to them. At the same time, even in countries where vaping is allowed, there may be restrictions on the nicotine content of vape liquids. The reasons for banning vapes are generally related to both public health and the potential attraction of youth to smoking.

Here are 9 countries that are against vaping:

  1. Australia – The sale of e-cigarettes containing nicotine is prohibited, except with a prescription.
  2. Denmark has strict rules regarding nicotine-containing products, sales, and advertising of such products.
  3. Hong Kong – the sale, manufacture, and import of electronic cigarettes is prohibited.
  4. India – As of 2019, the production, import/export, transportation, sale, distribution, storage, and advertising of e-cigarettes are prohibited due to the decline in the collective health of the country’s residents.
  5. Mexico – sale, distribution, and production of electronic cigarettes and vapes prohibited.
  6. United Arab Emirates (Dubai) – the ban applied to the sale and use of electronic cigarettes throughout the territory since 2009.
  7. Thailand – since 2014, violators face a fine of up to 30,000 baht and even imprisonment for up to 10 years. This strict policy was introduced to curb the rise of vaping among Thai youth.
  8. Turkey – Vaping is completely prohibited, including the sale, advertising, and import of e-cigarettes, including related products.
  9. In Japan – liquids with nicotine are prohibited, and only nicotine-free devices are allowed.

“Unless your vacation destination prohibits vaping devices, always carry batteries and vaping devices in your carry-on. Due to the pressure difference in the cargo compartment of the plane, do not store these items in your checked baggage,” warned a representative of Ski Vertigo, which has previously researched vaping among tourists.
