A magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook Turkey

A magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook the southern Turkish province of Adyaman, Turkish private television CNN-Turk reported.

The quake, registered at 15:38 local time (14:38 Kyiv time), was also felt in the surrounding areas of Malatya and Gaziatep.

According to the Office for Disaster Management and Emergencies, the epicenter was reported in the city of Chelihan. It happened at a depth of 7.06 km.

The earthquake caused panic among the population. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
