A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook the coast of Turkey

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook the coast of Datca in the southwestern Turkish province of Mugla. This was announced on Wednesday, August 11, on the website of the Office for Prevention and Elimination of the Consequences of Emergencies (AFAD).

The tremors were recorded in the Aegean Sea at 13.24 local time at a depth of 4.03 km.

The epicenter was located 46.42 km off the coast of Datca, Mugla Province.
